Atlanta Youth Academy issued the following announcement on March 16.
Kindness and doing our part to make the world a better place is a core part of being a Gladiator. We’re so proud of our 4th graders for organizing a charity Bake Sale to help others! A big THANK YOU to our Gladiator community for helping our students triple their initial fundraising goal and raise $1200 for charity!
The students voted to donate half of the money raised to Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta as planned and to donate the other half to charities helping Ukrainian children and their families by providing refugee kits containing necessities like clothing, food, toiletries, diapers and more! #GladiatorProud #kindnessmatters
