City of Hapeville recently issued the following announcement.
Hapeville for the Holidays
Join us for our Holiday Celebration on November 23rd
Hapeville for the Holidays

Jess Lucas Y-Teen Park
We welcome you to join us for our annual Lighting of the Tree in Jess Lucas Y Teen Park. Festivities will include visits with Santa**, holiday music, games, hot chocolate, and the return of the 10ft snow slide for ages 5 and up!
The evening will begin at 5:30pm, and the Lighting of the Tree will take place at 8:00pm. Admission and Parking are FREE!
Attendees are also invited to join in the annual non-denominational Thanksgiving Community Church Service, which will take place at 7pm at Hapeville First United Methodist Church (located across the street from Jess Lucas Park at 3510 Atlanta Ave).
**Santa will be at the park from 5:30pm to approximately 7:15pm and then will return at 8pm via fire truck.
