From January 23, 2023 post

Fulton County in a public-private partnership with Comcast and Goodwill of North Georgia launch the Fulton County Digital Ambassadors Program. The purpose of the Digital Ambassadors Program is to create hundreds of strategic access points throughout Fulton County for residents to learn and sign up for free broadband via the Federal Communications Commission (FCC) Affordable Connectivity Program (ACP).

Select Fulton serves as a partner for the program and will host a Digital Ambassadors Lunch and Learn on January 25 at the Fulton County Government Center. The lunch and learn will provide registered attendees with the basics of the ACP and how to direct Fulton County residents in the program. Local Ambassadors will enable Fulton residents to take full advantage of the free broadband access by spreading awareness about the program, getting support on setting up and inviting Digital Navigators to community events, and sharing any success of the ACP Program.
