From March 15, 2023 post.

Old Rucker Farm and the City of Alpharetta's Natural Resource Commission present a new series of guided bird walks led by members of the Georgia Audubon!  The first walk in the series will be on Sunday, March 26 from 8:00 to 10:00 AM.

Dottie Head, Director of Communications at Georgia Audubon, will lead a beginner-focused bird walk that begins at the outdoor classroom at Old Rucker Farm and Park, located at 900 Rucker Road.  We'll take a leisurely walk around the farm and surrounding park looking for resident and migratory species, including nuthatches, warblers, raptors, and sparrows, and learn some basic bird ID tips and tricks.

Bring binoculars if you have them.  Dottie will also have a few pairs of loaner binoculars available.
