The Women’s History Month Celebration honors the valuable contributions of women to the law enforcement community. This signature event brings women from across the metropolitan area to receive a keynote address from a highly respected female leader and witness women be awarded for their trailblazing work to bridge gaps between the community and law enforcement.

This year's keynote speaker was DHS/TSA Federal Security Director Mary Leftridge Byrd, and award recipients:

- Trailblazer for Community Award - Kelli Stewart, LEAD Center for Youth

- Faithful Guardian Presentation & Award - Johnnie Ruth Bussey, Retired Major

- Johnnie R. Bussey Legacy Award -  D.O. Sharon McIntosh

We are grateful for the opportunity to recognize these remarkable women and gather to fellowship and celebrate.
