TRAFFIC ALERT: Lane Closures On Westside Parkway - February 20 - 24
Motorists traveling south on Westside Parkway between Maxwell Road and Encore Parkway will encounter lane closures from Monday, February 20 through Friday, February 24. Northbound travelers will not be impacted.
Weather permitting, contractors working for the City of Alpharetta will be repairing a large dip that has developed in the road at a location just south of Arts Summit Road. This work necessitates the closure, which will be in place for the left southbound lane Monday through Wednesday and will then shift to the right lane Wednesday through Friday.
Motorists who would normally travel southbound along this area of Westside Parkway are encouraged to take alternate routes to avoid travel delays. Those who do choose to travel through the construction zone are reminded to reduce speeds and be on the lookout for construction workers and equipment.
