GDOT’s contractor got a little excited about the upcoming construction and lowered the speed limits too soon on GA400 between Haynes Bridge Road and Windward Parkway. That was not supposed to happen until later this year when they are replacing a bridge at Kimball Bridge Road. After seeing our social media posts, GDOT has called their contractor, and the speed limit signs are being changed back to 65 mph . . . for now.
