City of Alpharetta Has Approved a Memorandum of Understanding That Expands Its Partnership

From December 18,  2022 post.

The City of Alpharetta has approved a memorandum of understanding that expands its partnership with BrewABLE, a non-profit organization dedicated to the employment and enrichment of adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities.  Under the agreement, BrewABLE will be able to expand its coffee shop and café beyond its current location at the Alpharetta Community Center to other City facilities and events.

BrewABLE began as a spark of an idea in an effort to chip away at the disability unemployment rate.  In the summer of 2018, the group entered into a partnership with the City to establish a café in the lobby of the Alpharetta Community Center, which open on September 16, 2019.  The café quickly grew a following and has become a popular community gathering spot.
