As winter weather starts to appear more consistently, an emergency kit for your car will help you be prepared if you get stranded somewhere in your travels this, or any, winter. Rain and cold temperatures can bring slick and icy roads, snow and snow, and muddy grass shoulders. We don't want you to ever get stuck, and an emergency road kit may help get you back on your way, or atleast keep you comfortable while you wait for some help.
Below are a few things to think about keeping in your car's emergency kit:
A reflective triangle or road flares to keep you visible and safe out there.
A bag of kitty litter or sand to help get traction if you get caught in some mud or snow.
A map so you know where you are and can see where you're going...especially if your phone dies.
A phone charger and portable charging battery so you can stay connected.
An ice scraper....to scrape ice from your windows and keep visibility up.
A blanket to keep you warm if you need to wait for help.
Non-perishable snacks incase you're going to be waiting a little while....and who doesn't like snacks.
