UPDATE: As of 5:15pm, all roads around Briars Bend are reopened. Atlanta Gas Light is still on scene completing repairs.
The Alpharetta Department of Public Safety is currently responding to a significant gas leak in the vicinity of 515 Briars Bend. Briars Bend is closed to all traffic, and motorists are advised to avoid the area. Residents in the vicinity are cautioned to remain indoors until further notice.
