Woman Rescued from Courthouse Roof. Crisis Negotiators Escort Woman to Safety

Atlanta, GA – A naked woman, who was discovered to be on the Justice Center Tower roof this afternoon, is safe tonight following crisis negotiations. Shortly after 4 p.m., the woman was sighted on the roof, and Fulton County Sheriff’s Deputies, FCSO Crisis Negotiation Unit, Atlanta Police Department, and Atlanta Fire Rescue personnel quickly responded to the scene. Airbags were deployed on Central Avenue in front of the Courthouse, as a precaution, while officials worked to talk to the woman. Approximately an hour after being discovered, the woman was escorted to safety.

Drivers are encouraged to avoid the area for around an hour, as crews work to clear the scene.
