Alpharetta City issued the following announcement on April 7.
The schedule for the Georgia Department of Transportation’s GA400 Express Lanes Project was delayed in August 2021 when the State rejected all bids received for the project due to them far exceeding the project budget. With the procurement process having started over last month, construction on the project is not anticipated to begin until sometime in 2024.
