Georgia police are seeking help in identifying a teenager who was reportedly killed and left behind a vacant house in mid-February.
East Point police and the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children have released sketches of the young woman and photos of her jewelry to help determine her identity, Fox 5 Atlanta reported.
"It is a shock to the conscious of ourselves and the detectives working the case," Capt. Allyn Glover told Fox 5 Atlanta. "I've had some hard time sleeping at night. You know that there's a family out there without a daughter, a family member."
An autopsy found that the teen was killed by blunt force trauma, Fox 5 Atlanta reported. The body was found off of Ben Hill Road next to a vacant house after midnight on Feb. 12. Investigators are unsure whether the girl had been sexually assaulted.
Investigators said the girl had freckles and was wearing a gold necklace that said 2005 and a beaded anklet with the word "wixked," Fox 5 Atlanta reported.
While police have received tips from locations including even Germany, all have failed to lead to an identification, Fox 5 Atlanta reported.
