Georgia Tech tennis standout Keshav Chopra was named the Men's Tennis Player of the Week by the Atlantic Coast Conference, the university announced Jan. 18.

The accolade came after Chopra's impressive showing at the MLK Invitational, held Jan. 15-17 at the school. Chopra was undefeated in all of his singles and doubles matches, Georgia Tech reported in the announcement.

Chopra defeated two ranked players, No. 87 Hugo Hashimoto of Columbia and No. 116 Kweisi Kenyatte of Illinois, the only player at the tournament to best two ranked players. Chopra also defeated Ben Gollin of Columbia to clench a sweep of his singles matches, Georgia Tech reported in the announcement.

Chopra also competed in three doubles matches with partner Pablo Schelcher. The pair defeated Alex Finkelstein and Max Westphal, and Gollin and Hashimoto, Columbia University; and Kenyatte and Gabrielius Guzauskas, University of Illinois. The Georgia Tech duo were the only undefeated doubles team at the tournament.

Chopra was named the winner of both the singles and doubles action for his unbeaten at the MLK Invitational, GT reports.
