Serge Jerome, a 33-year-old Sandy Springs attorney, is currently facing sexual assault charges against a woman who sought legal guidance from him.
The attack allegedly occurred inside the woman's while Jerome was conducting a legal consultation, Fox 5 Atlanta reported.
"They were meeting to discuss a case," Sgt. Salvador Ortega, a Sandy Springs police public information officer, told Fox 5 Atlanta. "I haven't seen anything in my 15 years of police services."
Jerome was arrested on Dec. 20 following a traffic stop and now faces charges of sexual assault and aggravated sodomy, Fox 5 Atlanta reported. He was refused bail in a preliminary hearing and will stay in the Fulton County jail.
Currently, the State Bar of Georgia still lists Jerome as an active member in good standing, Fox 5 Atlanta reported.
Jerome was arrested after doctors examined a rape kit and investigators met with the victim and retrieved phone records.
