The Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets ranked the second highest in the Atlantic Coast Conference.
The Yellow Jackets received national preseason ranking from the ACC Championship Game.
“In total, Tech sports seven players ranked in Perfect Game’s top 300 MLB prospects and four in D1Baseball’s top 100 prospects list,” the school said in a release.
Sophomore catcher Kevin Parada earned all-American honors from Collegiate Baseball.
The ranking is the school's first national preseason ranking.
The Yellow Jackets are the second-highest ranked ACC team in the preseason poll and one of six teams ranked in the top 25 overall.
The team returns offensive stalwarts Parada, Andrew Jenkins, sophomore infielder; Drew Compton, sophomore infielder; Tres Gonzalez, sophomore outfield; Stephen Reid, sophomore outfield; Jake DeLeo, sophomore outfield; John Anderson, sophomore infielder; and Colin Hall, outfield senior.
